AND NOW A WORD FROM YOUR PASTOR....
"How is it having a roommate?" That's the question I have been asked since Fr Al arrived to live in residence and become a part of our communities of St. Mary and St. Joseph. I actually have had three roommates through the years: Bridget, the Beagle, Y2K the cat, and John Paul, the cockatiel. They have been my companions in the rectory with whom I have had to relate to and take care of as I come and go throughout the day. The question might be "How is it having another roommate?"
Sponsor Couple Training
Help couples explore the realities of marriage and to more fully understand how to have a sacramental marriage.
A Training Class will be held on Tuesday evening, September 19 from 6:30-8:30 pm.
(Remember, you don't have to have a perfect marriage to be a Sponsor Couple - both of you don't even have to be Catholic!)
For more information, call Carol Reissig, 936-582-2882 or Pam Alexander, 936-447-6994 or Marcy Felderhoff, 936-597-4638
RCIA SIGN-UP FOR FALL CLASSES IS HERE
Look for sign-up form elsewhere in bulletin. Please pass on this form to your friends and loved ones and encourage them to take advantage of this class each week beginning Sunday, Oct. 1st after 10:30 am mass.
Remember, this isn't a class just for those wishing to become a Catholic - it's also a class for those wanting to know more about what Catholics believe and why! Perhaps your husband or wife is a Catholic and you want to know and understand more about what they believe. Now is your chance to find out!
Come join us in a relaxed, informal study coming up this fall. If you would like more info, please e-mail Walter & Francell Busa at: rockbluff@mscc.net or call 936-870-4145
