AND NOW A WORD FROM YOUR PASTOR...
Each May I can sense a sigh of achievement and relief when our CCE program is finished for another year. It's a long nine months of long Wednesday nights 'at the church' for our kids, parents, teachers, and all who work so hard to ensure the handing on of our Roman Catholic faith to our children and youth. As each year ends, we are always looking forward for the next, using each year's experience to build an even better program for the next year.
Many Thanks For A Cutting Edge Bible Study
Paul Bramlett,
Many Thanks For A Cutting Edge Bible Study.
For the past two years, Paul Bramlett has led a study of the Bible that has been not only informative, interesting, but also stimulating. Parents waiting for their kids or Bible buffs were treated by Paul's knowledge and ability to get others excited by the Scriptures. Paul and his family are unfortunately for us moving to north Texas. We'll miss them all and wish them God's blessings in their new digs. We're only loaning you all out to whatever parish you join up there. Your place here is non-transferable.
Anyone interested in walking in Paul's footsteps and leading the Bible Study on Wednesday nights in the hall from 7pm-8pm, please call the parish office [936=894-2223].
CCE Program
TAKE THE CCE INITIATIVE!
YOU'RE NEEDED!
LET US KNOW YOU WANT TO HELP.
Every year we welcome back our core of dedicated teachers, aids, and host of volunteers who make our CCE program one of the best in the area. However, there is always room for additional hands and hearts. If you're feeling a call to minister to our children and youth, please contact the office [936-894-2223]. There's a place just for you and your talent/skill. It's about more than teaching.

RCIA SIGN-UP FOR FALL CLASSES
Look for sign-up form elsewhere in bulletin. Please pass on this form to your friends and loved ones and encourage them to take advantage of this class beginning in the fall (Sunday, Sept. 17th after 10:30 am mass).
Remember, this isn't a class just for those wishing to become a Catholic - it's also a class for those wanting to know more about what Catholics believe and why! Perhaps your husband or wife is a Catholic and you want to know and understand more about what they believe. Now is your chance to find out!
Come join us in a relaxed, informal study coming up this fall.
(If you would like more info, please e-mail Walter & Francell Busa at
rockbluff@mscc.net or call 936-870-4145)
