AND NOW A WORD FROM YOUR PASTOR...
November is traditionally the month and time of year when we specifically remember those who have preceded us in death. November 1st and 2nd are special days of celebrating the lives of all God’s holy ones and remembering in prayer our loved ones who have died. The two days are yoked together because we firmly believe that death does not separated us from those whom we love and that our prayer for them is effective and necessary.

KNOW YOUR FAITH
Do you really know what the Church teaches and why? Coming to St. Joseph, on Sunday, November 6, a video presentation by Fr. John Corapi will be shown in the SJ Hall after the 7:30 am Mass each Sunday.
Fr. Corapi is a man who at one time was a multi-millionaire living in Hollywood and got caught up in partying, drug abuse, you name it. Due to his excesses, he lost everything and was, literally, a homeless street bum. He came back to his beginnings and after shocking a poor priest with his confession, went on to become a priest himself. He’s an excellent, down-to-earth teacher. You still have time to dig out your old Catechism or buy the new Second Edition at St. Mary’s Corner Shoppe to follow along with this series. Fr. Corapi is widely regarded as a preacher and public speaker. (This series will be repeated at St. Mary’s after the 10:30 am Mass beginning at a later date this fall.) “IN ORDER TO LOVE CHRIST MORE DEEPLY ONE MUST COME TO KNOW HIM MORE INTIMATELY. KNOWING THE FAITH IS KNOWING
